World Religions Links for the Pathways Singles Sunday School Class of Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas
Pathways meets on Sunday at 11am in room N258 at Church United Methodist Church (3101 Coit Road, SW corner with Parker)
This series will be taught/discussed Sunday, April 30 through Sunday, July 30. Sundays June 18 and 25 will be on Methodism presented by guest speaker Wendy Curran, Director of Adult Ministries at CUMC.
This page is a list of website links that you might want to use in the upcoming Pathways Class Study of World Religions. It is not required at all to prepare in advance for the class. But you may wish to either explore some of these links before the class or to understand further after the class.
There are many, many books that describe the major religions. The one I will use most often is The World's Religions by Huston Smith. But this is not the only book I am using as a reference.

Christianity is the world's largest religion. There are numerous website dedicated to Christianity with many differing theological persuasions. I cannot vouch for all the websites I have included. For the basics, use one of the general religion links above.
